Shot Blasting

Shot blasting is a technological procedure that serves as the first step of cleaning surfaces of various types of materials. A high velocity steel abrasive is used for performing shot blasting on different materials. This method acts as a surface protector, since it helps in removing impurities from different surfaces, making them ready for further coating and finishing processes like spray painting, welding, etc.
At Prasho, we follow the commercial standard of surface treatment quality — Swedish SA 2.5 standard. The SA 2.5 Shot Blasting process makes our jobs durable, smooth surfaced and free from surface contaminants. Being one of the oldest Shot Blasting processing units present in MIDC, Bhosari, Prasho takes pride in providing top quality jobs done by trained experts using state of the art machinery.

Spray Painting

Epoxy Coating
Epoxy Coating is a surface finishing process used to add long-lasting layers of protection to a material. After performing processes like Sandering, Shot Blasting, Putty Filling, a thick coat of Epoxy Paint is used on the material to preserve it from exterior deterioration.
We use high quality product on our jobs, thus making them resistant to things like chemicals, abrasions, stains, amongst others.
P.U. (Polyurethane) Coating
Along with Epoxy Coating, we also provide P.U. (Polyurethane) Coating at Prasho Engineers. It is also a surface protectant that keeps surfaces safe from various imperfections like weathering, corrosion, abrasions and many other surface deteriorating processes.

The difference between Epoxy Coating and P.U. (Polyurethane) Coating is that Epoxy provides tougher coated surfaces whereas Polyurethane has less compressive strength and durability. Since Polyurethane coatings are softer, they make materials more flexible and thus more scratch resistant. We recommend choosing the type of coating as per the requirement of specific materials and the amount of wear and tear they will be exposed to.

Powder Coating

Powder coating is a finishing process done using dry powder, applied electrostatically and then baked in a furnace under heat or with U.V light. This method of coating gives materials a durable, long-lasting and colour protective finish.
Possessing top-level furnaces and powder coating gadgetry, we assure our customers with materials having premium quality finishing, and resistance to scratches, colour fading, chipping and other exterior damages.
